The Absolutely True Diary of a Part-Time Indian

For summer reading, I read The Absolutely True Diary of a Part-Time Indian by Sherman Alexie.  It was about an Indian boy who decided that he was not going to do anything with his life if he stayed on the reservation.  He then went to a school off the reservation and he was shunned by his friend.  I chose this book because it looked interesting and people have told me that it is a good book.  This book deals with the issue of people not being accepted because of their ethnicity.  I really liked this book.  My favorite part was when the boy and his best friend made up and became friends again.  I would definitely recommend this book to someone else!
